<p>[player_tooltip player_id='896732' first='Alyce' last='Edwards'] (Kennett): The 5'4" point guard came on the scene with a rush as she immediately became one of the top players in the SEMO region. She averaged 24.5 points a game and broke the school's record for most points in one season. She is a blur in the open court with her speed and quickness and she can also hit the perimeter jumper to compliment her driving. She was also named the Player of the Year in the SEMO Conference after leading Kennett to a 21-7 record.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='803053' first='Ryenn' last='Gordon'] (Centralia): The 5'7" point guard has a tremendous first year in helping lead the Panthers to a third-place finish in the Class 3 state tournament. She is an elite-level floor leader who makes the game easy for her teammates with her passing. She can also create own on offense from all three levels. She averaged nine points and three rebounds a game while leading the Panthers in assists and steals. She also had a very strong weekend at the Class 3 Final Four.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='777605' first='Amaya' last='Manuel'] (Lift for Life): A dynamic 5'7" point guard who was a big sparkplug in the Hawks run to the Class 4 state championship. Not only is she very talented with a high basketball IQ, she is a tough competitor who rebounds and plays good defense. She averaged a team-high 17 points a game along with 4.9 rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 39 percent from 3-point range.</p>

<p>Jazlyn Rhodes (St. Teresa's): A smooth 5'9" point guard who led St. Teresa's to a 21-6 record and a district championship as a freshman. She was an impact player at both ends of the court with her three-level scoring and playmaking skills. She is also a stellar defender who was disruptive with her ability to create steals and turnovers. She averaged 12 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals a game. The really stepped it up in the postseason when she averaged nearly 17 points a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='791650' first='Dasia' last='Scott'] (Principia): The 6'2" forward was one of the most dominant players in the state, regardless of class. She led the Panthers to a berth in the Class 2 state championship game this season. She averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds a game, which led the St. Louis metro area in both categories. She is also a good ball handler and playmaker who can facilitate offense</p>
