The 2024 field of teams was loaded with several premier programs playing in this year’s event. After 2 days of watching ball I have decided to break down this report into 2 or 3 parts. I positioned myself at the Hive on courts 1-3 so these reports will be on the teams I saw. I am sure I missed many great players and if so please send me your profile and video.
Abigail is a PG that does it all on the court. The thing that I enjoyed watching or that impressed me was the toughness she plays with on both ends of the court. Offensively she is a must find type player from the 3 point area as she is a deadly shooter. A physically player that does not mind contact when attacking the rim. Several times she used the contact to create space for a nice step back jumper. A gritting type player that could lead a team in both steals and rebounds from the guard spot
Kealey Sanders

A point guard that can attack the rim aggressively and does not mind contact to get the And 1. A guard that showed great understanding of reading the next level defense on her drives getting several assists with the drop pass. A dead on shooter from 3 that does not need much space to get the shot off. A shooter with great range that is a must find on defense. The range allows her to attack bad close outs for easy layups. A freshman guard that had a great first year at the high school level
A nice combo guard that has great handles in the open court. An aggressive down hill driver on offense that can handle the contact finishing several times. A very shifty driver that uses a slide step to avoid the charge on the drives. An all out hustler on defense that creates turnovers and physical enough to win the 50/50 ball Shooter from 3 point range but also possess a very nice mid range game. Great lift on her finishes.
A shooting guard that has a great skill set. You can tell this young lady works on her craft. Offensively she can shoot the 3, handle the ball, and find the open man for the assist. Moves well without the ball of offense finding the open shot for the kick and knock down 3. Use contact on the drive to create space for a nice step back shot. Understands the game of drive and kick looking for the layup or the kick. Quick hands on defense getting several deflections in the passing lane or knocking the ball out of a drivers hand
A guard that can flat out shoot the 3 with range and consistently. Great on the ball defender that caused several turnovers for her team. A guard that pushes the tempo with her eyes always looking for the open person. Amazing job attacking the gaps vs the zone defense getting to the nail and pulling up with a mid range floater. Another freshman guard that is coming off a great varsity season.

Guard that is quick and has great handles at the PG spot. An aggressive down hill driver when attacking the rim. Shown a very nice step back jump shot on the drive. Great hustler on defense that can pressure the ball in the open court. Showed range from the outside knocking down several deep 3’s Creates several scoring opportunities for her teammates off the drives.
Sophia Beltran
Sophia Beltran
Sophia is a 2028 that played up this weekend and you could not tell she was an incoming freshman next school year. Shooter that shot with confidence knocking down several from the outside Moved well without the ball on offense either relocating to open spot or cutting back door when overplayed. Definitely a player to watch on the 2028 circuit this summer
