When she catches at the block with some time, she is tough guard at the Varsity level. In the college game, she will need to adapt to being more of a 3 or CG but I think it’s doable. She might not be the tallest Forward but she makes up for it with her smarts and dedication to the game. At this point, Cleveland has about 10 collegiate offers from all over the Midwest. I’m not sure where she might end up but no matter where it is, she is sure to worry about the current high school season right in front of her.

Cleveland was offered 5-10 times this AAU season and she just roped in another from Simpson (D3) out of Iowa. Cleveland is going to play at the D3, NAIA, or Juco level to start off her college career and then who knows. If she expands her game outside of the paint, she could even move up from there but it’s going to be a process. A process that is possible but a process nevertheless. This Winter at Millard South she will continue her dominance in the middle of the paint. It’ll be an important year for her as a whole but she should continue to kill it.

Cleveland is a Forward at 6’0 that likes to move around the basket and find space against weaker opponents. Her teammates understand how to get her the ball in favorable positions and she has shown them more time than not that she can score once she catches with her back to the basket, so as long as that keeps up, her success in that department will keep up. When you take that into consideration and add the fact that she has a calm demeanor and a soft touch near the hoop, you see her future potential. This Winter she will be a main key to her Millard South team’s success once again but that won’t be something that is new to her.
