My daughter has been in the W for over a decade and she’s still adding this or that, but several players I had written about previously did just that so to say I was smiling with joy would be an understatement

Parker made Honorable Mention last season ironically at this same event at I remember her mental toughness stood out, especially on the defensive end yet her baseline to baseline pressure looked even better. Let me back up, she’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base and watching her not only show she could apply heat “on the ball” in the set to help create turnovers, she played the passing lane as well. Nice first step got her to the basket to score and finish
Buffin showed me she could drop the jumper at last season’s Neville Jones Invitational and I also mentioned her body control after contact yet she gave me even more because her “stop and pop” in transition dropped the mic, well also dropped the ball through the nets yet she used her athleticism on both ends and her “on the ball” pressure helped to create turnovers. She did a good job rebounding, as well as seeing the floor yet when she changed hands in mid air to score after contact, I guess she picked the mic up and dropped it again

Alexander is a big guard, just a shade under “the magic number” and she grabbed my attention playing multiple positions during my annual Holiday Tournament viewing back in in December. I mentioned she was “long and athletic” because that’s very important and her intangibles stood out on the defensive end yet she showed me she score off the dribble attacking with either hand yet more importantly, finishing after contact, with either hand. Solid body control helped, so did her strength

Frost has been a Tip Sheet waiting to happen since I first saw her a few years ago and at last season’s Duel For The Dynasty, I mentioned how she was clutch down the stretch yet I’ve become accustom to seeing her not only want the shot in crunch time but delivering. Her pull-up jumper as well as using a slight HEZ to attack and finish after contact was nice, so was her exploding off the dribble to score but her court vision and setting teammates up for good looks was a big plus, so was her “playing the passing lane”
Evans was a GAMECHANGER at last season’s PGH Freshman Showcase yet everything I mentioned about her in the article, she has taken it to another level. I love how she sets the defender up to attack the basket and staying under control while being pressured in the open court was also nice to see yet her dishing off the dribble as well as threading the needle in traffic from 15 feet away was very nice. Body control after contact is better, she even gave me an acrobatic finish plus that “stop and pop” is going to create big problems for defenders
