Tori is one of the more versatile players in the state of Georgia. A Swiss Army knife if you will. With the combination of size, skill, and athleticism that Thompson possesses, she will probably play four positions again for Hillgrove this season. You have to account for Tori at all times on the court due to her quickness and the high motor with which she plays. Thompson doesn’t need plays run for her on the offensive end to impact games (although, Hillgrove is going to need to do some of that this season). Whether it’s loose balls, offensive rebounds, or steals, she finds ways to put the ball in the basket. Tori is very competent shooter from the perimeter and becoming an elite ball handler (already very good). Not only is she one of the more versatile players in the state, but she is competes no matter where she is playing and plays with a high level of consistency.

Thompson’ stellar play was rewarded by the coaching staff at St. John’s University with a scholarship offer at the end of April. There are more on the way for Thompson, who previously played with FBC Supreme Team and is now playing with FBC United The Family. Thompson had all the physical attributes you look for in a player and has continued to put in work with Coach Bernard Pitts. She plays the game with controlled aggression and continues to add to her offensive arsenal. Thompson has shown the ability to lock up productive scoring guards for opposing teams and rebounds the ball very well for her position. Clearly her efforts are paying off and Tori moves up from 29 to 10.
