Seniors Shine at the GVSU Team Camp

She showed her strength after getting a steal or rebound and making a one-handed pass the full length of the court multiple times. She finished strong around the rim and had a nice step-through. She also connected on a few shots behind the arc. Selena is constantly making hustle plays and is a pesky defender, causing havoc for her opponents. She was attacking and finishing through contact. She showcased a nice euro-step move that was tough to defend. Additionally, she was effective on the defensive end, causing havoc for her opponents and coming away with multiple steals. She is intense on the defensive end of the court, challenging her opponents the entire length of the court. She showed some athleticism by getting a block on a much taller player. Mckaig moves well without the ball and knocked down a few shots behind the arc. She continuously made steals by jumping into passing lanes and effortlessly converting them into points. Her defensive anticipation was outstanding. Additionally, she demonstrated accurate shooting with her mid-range jumper hitting nothing but net. She has great hands and stripped the ball from a post player. She showed off her euro-step finish. She connected on multiple 3's but hit a huge one to put her team up by 1 with under a minute left in one of her games showing that ice in her veins.
