Kendall received an offer from Concord University a few days ago. She is a great playmaker who is always looking for opportunities to get her teammates involved and put them in good positions to score. Kendall also has good anticipation defensively, allowing her to jump into passing lanes and create turnovers.

Long is a versatile playmaker who impacts the game as both a scorer and facilitator, capable of knocking down threes, attacking the basket, and finishing around the rim. She has excellent floor vision, slowing the pace when needed to read the defense, making sharp entry and transition passes, and creating scoring opportunities for her teammates with her unselfish approach. She also contributes on the defensive end by generating steals, running the floor for the outlet, and making plays on both sides of the ball.

Long continues to play well off the ball. She moves with a purpose to make strong cuts to the basket. Kendall can knock down the open shots. In my opinion, she is one of the best guards with the ball in her hands. She has excellent court vision, and makes great passes to her teammates. She recently picked up 2 offers from Bridgewater and the University of Pittsburgh Bradford. She’s a young guard that will have numerous opportunities to play at the next level!

Kendall makes life difficult for opponents with the way she competes on defense. She pressures the ball well and does a good job keeping players out of the paint. Offensively, she is a strong three-point shooter with a quick release. Kendall also attacks the basket hard and uses her strength to create space when finishing around bigger defenders.

Long knows exactly how to dictate the tempo of the game. She put on a strong performance in Atlantic City! Kendall is a relentless defender, and she communicates effectively! I love the high-motor that she plays with. She plays with a purpose and never takes a play off. The energy level that Kendall plays with elevates her teammates. This athlete embodies exactly what coach’s want!

Kendall leads this group of Northeast standouts after an impressive showing at the April Shootout in Virginia, where she posted 17 points, 8 steals, and 3 assists. Kendall runs her lane extremely well in transition, consistently getting behind the defense for easy opportunities. She sees the floor at a high level and prioritizes moving the ball, often advancing it quickly with smart, pass-first decisions. Defensively, Kendall’s active hands create turnovers that immediately turn into offense.

Long is playing exceptional for James Monroe. She knows how to control the tempo and pace of the game. She has put up a few big numbers to start the season. Long scored 25 points, added 4 assists, 4 steals, and 7 rebounds in a win over Summers County. Long is averaging over 11 points per game. She is also averaging 4.8 steals per game. I love the defensive intensity that Kendall plays with! When March comes, Kendall is a name to know on this tough James Monroe squad!

Long is the perfect example of a young point guard glue player. The youngster is going to make mistakes but her hustle after a mistake is what stands out. In a recent win over Hurricane, she poured in 19 points, added 5 assists, and 2 steals! In my opinion, we will see James Monroe back in the state tournament and Kendall is going to be a crucial part to help the team get there!

A very intriguing prospect even at 5’5 showed great versatility for her team! She was able to do multiple, she rebounded well and was able to guard taller players. A great athlete she had no problem finishing at the rim!

She does a great job defending without fouling. She knows exactly how to turn defense to offense. Offensively, she does a good job getting downhill. She is a young ’28 that coaches at the next level should follow now.
