[player_tooltip player_id='372802' first='Kami' last='Wilson'] built to score the ball in girls basketball. She doesn't have supreme athleticism, but instead relies on her size and a smooth skill set to be able to get her shot off on anyone. She averaged over 27 a game last season, and then dispelled the idea that those numbers were inflated in the private school division by having a tremendous spring/summer with AEBL. She's committed to play at UTC.

What I really like is how she scores. She's not really a tremendous 3 point shooter, and instead dominates in the mid area. She only hit 50 threes last season, which is good, but not great. She only had 2 threes in her 40 point game. She's an old-school scorer that simply knows how to put the ball in the hole.

The Quinnipac signee averaged 23 points a game for Brentwood last season. She doesn't rely on explosive athleticism, but instead at simply deliberately attacking defenses on all three levels. She's just craft. Ryan is a tremendous shooter off the catch from 3, but can also attack a bad closeout. She's able to get a high efficiency floater with lightning speed, or get to the rim and finish with either hand. She's primed for a run at Ms. Basketball this season.

Bystry will go down as one of the most prolific scorers in McMinn Central long history of basketball dominance. She's perhaps the best scorer in 2A, and is capable of getting hot and having huge runs. Has multiple 40+ point games to her name. She hit 96! threes last season, at 38%. Those numbers are tremendous.

Watch the film and you'll see one of the fastest releases in TN HS girls basketball. Will pull the trigger off the dibble in the half court or in transition. Also a really nice scorer at the rim. She'll lead a McMinn Central team hoping to return to the Glass House.

Higgins is a wing with a diversified skill set that's unlocked with her size. At 5'11, she's really tough to get a clean contest against. She averaged 19 points at 47% shooting (75 made 3's on 39%). She's an incredibly efficient scorer that doesn't seem to force anything, and lets the game simply come to her. When teams close out too hard against the 3 she's able to scorer around the rim with a nice combination of size, strength, skill and finesse. She's a still unsigned senior that will make a college team really luck...

Weathers has buckets in her blood (big sister Karly Weathers @kjweathers25 plays for Alabama @alabamawbb). At 5'8 she's the shortest player of this group, but there simply isn't a great game plan to use against her. She's turned herself into a prolific three point shooter that demands defensive attention. She plays MUCH bigger than her size though (she's a very good rebounder for her position), and is capable of getting hot and finding creative ways to score at all three levels.

You also have to be impressed that she signed brightest when the bright lights were on last season. Weathers averaged 31.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in three games during Loretto's run to the Class 2A state championship game. That included 33 points and 16 rebounds in a 55-52 overtime win over Gatlinburg-Pittman in the semifinals.
