Christian looked solid in the skills portion of camp to start things off, and she was the first player to improvise a finish around the basket instead of finishing with a fundamental layup. At face value, that doesn’t seem like much, but I think it shows a lot of confidence to express herself around players she may not know as well as others. She also used her physicality well in the 5v5 portion at the end of camp.

The Lomira native helped lead her Lions team to the State Tournament in her sophomore season of high school basketball. Christian is a player who can hunt her shot and score from all three levels offensively. She is a confident player who grew up with an elite talent in her household and is paving her own path for the Lions. She is a player who took a step forward this high school season and will be one to watch with her Wisconsin Lakers team.

The Flyway has plenty of talent, although it’s concentrated at Laconia. However, as a newcomer, Christian is leading the conference in scoring. She’s been a reliable volume scorer for a team in the top half of the conference. One main reason she’s been as reliable is how aggressive she is and how often that leads to her getting to the free-throw line. As an 85% free-throw shooter, getting to the line almost seven times per game is a perfect way to keep the scoreboard going in the right direction.
