Expert Analysis
Brittany Magee | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Farr uses her size well around the basket, rebounding the ball at its highest point and creating second-chance opportunities with putbacks. She is strong and active on the boards on both ends, working around box outs to secure rebounds and showing good awareness to establish her pivot foot and find the outlet pass. She also makes an impact defensively with blocks and deflections, moving her feet well to cut off drives and beat opponents to the spot before they can get to the rim.

proves the old basketball saying that you simply cannot teach height. However, her size is only part of what makes her intriguing. Farr possesses impressive footwork and athleticism around the basket for such a young player. This multi-sport athlete operates comfortably in tight spaces around the rim. Additionally, she combines strong hands with quality footwork to finish through traffic.
Defensively, Farr’s length and athleticism create problems for opposing post players. She can alter, redirect, and block shots around the basket. Moreover, her mobility gives her tools beyond those of a traditional interior player. As Farr physically matures, expect her game to become stronger and more well-rounded. She still has plenty of development ahead of her. However, Farr already possesses the tools to make an immediate impact at the high school level.

You could start and stop the conversation by saying she’s 6’3″ and smooth. But that barely scratches the surface. A multisport athlete with a soccer background, Farr brings advanced footwork and soft hands that complement her length. She already shows a natural touch around the basket, finishing with control and feel beyond her years. Combined with her mobility and coordination, Farr projects as a matchup problem early. Don’t expect a long adjustment period she has the tools to make an immediate impact in her freshman season.
