About Addyson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a shifty Gaurd aggressive defender good mid range shooter and 3-point shooter, My name is Addyson Brissey, I am a current junior at Randall k. Cooper high school, in Union Kentucky. I am class of 2026, I’m a 5’5 point guard/ shooting guard for the cooper lady jags basketball team. Im a great and aggressive defender. I am a good spot up shooter and off the ball player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always give 100% and push myself and my teammates to get better every day. I thrive under pressure and bring energy, hustle, and leadership to every game and practice.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve had a-b honor roll since freshman year, have been apart of track and field and gotten honorable mention, and all state honorable mention for two years. As a sophomore for cooper basketball, I got academic all- state honorable mention as well. And am on the Kentucky all star team against Indiana.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to communicate effectively on and off the court, support my teammates, and lead by example with my effort and attitude. I’ve also volunteered at youth camps, helping younger players grow their love for the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

Right now I’m very open to anything

Addyson brought great energy on defense, showcasing quick hands and applying strong ball pressure. She used her speed and a variety of crossover moves to get past initial defenders and attack the paint. She also made timely cuts to the basket that led to high-percentage scoring chances. Addyson plays with relentless effort and leaves everything on the floor every time I watch her.

Addyson Brissey Addyson Brissey 5'6" | PG/SG Cooper | 2026 State KY was a key component in [highschool_tooltip highschool_id=’1011048′ name=’Cooper’]’s success this season, helping them win the 9th Region and make it to the Sweet 16 quarterfinals. The lefty-guard has a tight handle, can knock down threes at a rapid clip and get to the basket. Addyson is also a strong on-ball defender who knows how to slide her feet and keep the ball in front of her. She makes hustle plays and uses quick hands to create steals. Addyson averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds per game.
