She’s incredibly fast with the ball in her hands and has an extra gear in the open floor that makes her tough to contain in transition. A high-motor guard with a strong nose for the ball on defense as well.

Lyric Hooper Lyric Hooper 5'6" | CG Cooper | 2026 State KY is a name you should know at Boone County High School. This speedy combo guard averaged a 13 points and 7.7 rebounds a game last season. Lyric is dangerous in the open court and thrives off of fast break buckets. She is excellent off the dribble and has a knack for drawing contact. Lyric is a stout defender and does a great job coming up away with steals and turning defense into points. I expect big things from her this season as she will be the number one option for the Lady Rebels.
