Adeeya Yanga Adeeya Yanga 6'0" | PF Storm Lake | 2025 State IA of Storm Lake High School and Lady Martin Bros AAU is someone that is quietly going to have a great season for her Senior year over these next six months. Yanga is one of the taller individuals that the state of Iowa has to offer at this point and she has solid balance, coordination, and touch as well. When you have all of those things at over 6’0, you can usually do some work on both sides of the floor in this sport. I’m going to be in attendance early on this Winter to see this group and Yanga complete. If she can show me that her motor is there and their system is up to par, they are going to be a tough group to stop on any given night this time around.

Adeeya Yanga Adeeya Yanga 6'0" | PF Storm Lake | 2025 State IA was featured in a piece recently highlighting her height at the PF position. Yanga is one of the more underrated prospects in the state but don’t get it mixed up, she is a competitor who wants nothing more than to make her opponent suffer in the paint. This is a player that everyone has to worry about on opposing teams while they attack the rim or else. For Storm Lake to put together a year better than their expectations, Yanga has to be their piece in the middle they can go to in times of need. If they can find her in those moments and she plays to her strengths, then they are going to love how their season plays out as a whole.

I don’t get the chance to see Adeeya Yanga Adeeya Yanga 6'0" | PF Storm Lake | 2025 State IA and her Storm Lake team compete enough throughout the season, solely because of our locations and how their schedule usually plays out but that doesn’t change the fact that this group has put together a really nice season at 14-7 and they aren’t done just yet. In their First Round game on Wednesday night, the Tornados won against Sergeant Bluff-Luton by a final of 62-48. In this contest, the star player for the storm was their presence in the middle, Adeeya Yanga Adeeya Yanga 6'0" | PF Storm Lake | 2025 State IA . Yanga recorded a double-double with 20 Points and 10 Rebounds in her efforts along with 2 Assists and 3 Blocks. Yanga’s game is consistent and efficient in the paint. She works relentlessly on both side of the basketball to make an impact each contest, even if she isn’t scoring at a high rate. In their Second Round matchup, the Tornado’s will travel to Bishop Heelan to face the powerhouse that is the Crusaders. It’s going to be a challenging game for the visitors in my opinion but I wouldn’t be surprised if Yanga put up a similar stat line to the other evening. She makes things happen and she has size, so I’m sure her presence will be known.

Adeeya Yanga Adeeya Yanga 6'0" | PF Storm Lake | 2025 State IA is one of those players that you can say hasn’t “put it together” quite yet but she has the ability to do so. Yanga is a lengthy forward who gets a lot of action near the basket. She rebounds well, protects the paint, and gives a great effort on every possession. If she continues to work on her coordination and touch when it comes to handling the basketball, she is going to be a problem. When she keeps it simple she can score over most other players in the state of Iowa, without a doubt. I’m excited to see what the future holds with Yanga. She is a solid talent with a good head on her shoulders. With the right guidance, she is going to put it together and make something of it before her high school career comes to a close.
