The Mayville native is a well-rounded guard who elevates the players around her. Christian is a willing passer who can handle the ball under pressure and read defenses. She does a solid job of getting into the paint and forcing defenses to rotate to keep her from getting layups. Once she does, she does an excellent job finding open teammates on the perimeter. I liked how comfortable she looked with the ball.

Christian, coming off of a fantastic Freshman season, where she averaged 12.5 points, 3.3 assists, and 6 steals per game, was one of my top players at The Expo! Smooth athlete whose explosiveness and overall feel for the game jumped out to me both in the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5. Showing a quick first step, and great handles, Christian was able to repeatedly get to the paint finishing consistently, in a plethora of ways, when not finding teammates with high IQ passes.

Ady filled up my notebook on Sunday during a strong opening game for Wisconsin Blaze Inferno at the Great Lakes Kickoff. She attacked hard off the dribble, got to the rim, then converted an acrobatic and-one layup off balance. Ady took the ball fearlessly to the basket, drove into contact, and earned many trips to the free throw line. She knocked down shots at the line efficiently with a confident follow-through. Ady’s pressure and anticipation in the passing lanes resulted in many steals. She avoided a defender using a fancy euro-step in the lane to score with her left and scored another and-one bucket on a determined drive. Ady dished out skip passes to cutters and made smart dump offs for assists.
