The Bay Port guard battled through knee issues throughout her youth days, and it seeped into her first high school season. She showed some flashes last summer when she returned from another knee injury but still needed time to be 100%. If you were looking for a name that could pop out of nowhere in this class this summer, it’d be Lemorandes. We’ll see if she can get back for AAU, but if she does, she could pop.

Lemorande has solid size, she understands the x’s and o’x, and she demonstrates a bunch of fundamentals while competing. She knows to get to two feet into the middle of the lane for the best balance, she understands when to shoot compared to when she should drive or dish it, and she is the type to sacrifice her body for the good of her team whenever there is a loose ball in the stands or on the floor. When you add all of this together you usually get a recipe for success so it wouldn’t surprise me if she killed it moving forward.
