can absolutely play at the collegiate level given the right program fit. Her superpower is hitting the 3-point shot—she is an elite floor-spacer who demands defensive attention the second she crosses half-court.
However, her game has expanded tremendously since the 7th grade. She is no longer just a specialist; she can score from all three levels on the floor, and her defense has improved significantly over the years. She is solid and reliable on the defensive end. There are 3 things that stood out to me yesterday. First, what truly makes her dangerous is her advanced basketball IQ, sharp court awareness, and elite floor vision. Offensively, she has a rare understanding of where her teammates are at all times and manipulates defenses to put her team in the best position to score. Secondly, defensively, she understands when to gamble on steals and gets many deflections. She can also rebound on both ends of the court.
Although I believe she is at her absolute best playing off the ball as a scoring threat, her ability to step up and run the point is really good. The third thing that jumped out at me yesterday was just how comfortable and poised she looked on the court. That level of comfort directly translated into positive production on both ends of the court.
Bottom line:

is a high-IQ basketball player with the natural ability to make a positive impact on both ends of the court. It is my assessment that she can definitely play at the collegiate level, given the right program and basketball system.

Evans is a primary ballhandler for her team who consistently keeps the offense organized. Shows strong facilitation skills, delivering timely reads and accurate passes, including the occasional well-placed no-look dime, to put teammates in position to score.

Evans patiently sets the defender up using a deceptive first step to attack and score, yet one of the things I have enjoyed watching about her game is that she “plays within herself” which means she doesn’t do things out of the ordinary to try and impress anyone. Her court vision looked good, so did her defense, yet she’s not only creating her shot better, she’s also creating spacing to get it off, and her “catch and shoot” was a problem for defenders

#20 up from #21 Evans smoothly slides up a spot, yet smoothly is the key word, and she handles the ball with ease while being pressured by defenders to score. I think watching her create her shot better as well as creating spacing is going to be a game changer as she will have options on the offensive end, yet seeing her “on the ball” pressure as well as playing the passing lane were pluses see evaluations here

Evans just keeps getting better, and her “poise under pressure” has gone to another level. She used the slight HEZ to get the defender leaning and blow by them to score off the dribble. Her mid to long-range has gotten better, so has her court vision across the board, yet her defense “on the ball” as well as “playing the passing lane” have also shot up

Evans is heady, plays within herself, and oh yeah, wants the ball in pressure situations. That’s always a good thing, especially when you can deliver, and her being named to numerous postseason teams this season showed just how much she brings to the table. She’s made numerous Tip Sheets, but here’s a big TIP, she wants IT see evaluations here

#23-Evans has been on my radar for a little while yet @gocoachmo had a good look at her during the PGH Freshman Showcase see evaluation here The thing about her is she’s steady and plays under control plus her upside is nice, here’s what I saw from the same event as she was named one of the Top Performers see evaluation here

Evans mixed it up offensively off the top and she showed she was ready to step up to the plate. Her HEZ keeps getting better and will create problems, yet her body control on her finishes had me smiling. She dropped the jumper from midrange and gave me the “catch and shoot” from deep as well as the “stop and pop” in transition. Her defense was solid and she played the passing lane

An excellent ball handler, Evans attacks are deceptively simplistic. She already understands “less is more” and thus she doesn’t waste a dribble. Diving, slashing and disrupting the defense, Evans will be an absolute immediate impact player at Vanguard.
