Alli is honestly one of the only players in the state who has a chance of pushing Bugbee around. This gives Mandan a shot at winning the WDA. She is another incredibly strong athlete. When you watch her play it is hard to believe she is only a sophomore. She also has Division 1 offers after having an excellent AAU campaign. She is very difficult at stopping at the basket and is one of the best in the state at getting to the free-throw line. Alli is already an All-Conference talent and should have even more impressive numbers this season. Last year she averaged 10.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. She shot 45.9% from the field, 28.6% from three, and 70.2% from the free-throw line.

Reiner is already a very good basketball player. She was selected to the All-WDA team last season and should be a lock for the next three. She is a future All-State selection as well. She nearly averaged a double-double last season and should eclipse that feat going forward. She is one of the most physically strong athletes in the state and incredibly difficult to stop near the basket. She is an excellent rebounder and thrives at getting fouled and earning free-throw attempts. Alli picked up her first Division 1 offer this summer from West Florida . Something tells me she is just getting started.

Alli was the most dominant post I saw at The Jesse. It is almost hard to describe how strong she is around the basket. She is nearly impossible to stop from either getting a layup or drawing a foul once she establishes position. She likely gets fouled every possession, even if it doesn’t get called. She is a total warrior around the rim. She is an excellent rebounder, both offensively and defensively. She will need to put a few combo moves into her toolbox as she grows through her career so that she is able to score on girls just as strong and girls with height advantages at the next level.

Reiner is another WDA post who is already dominant and just scratching the surface of how good she will be. The 6’1 power forward earned herself a spot on the All-WDA team last season with averages of 11 points and 8 rebounds per game while shooting 47% from the field, 71% from the free-throw line, and just under 30% from three. If she gets her three-point percentage above 33-35%, I think she is a lock for the Division 1 level. She is so much stronger than nearly every player she plays against. It was evident in the 3-on-3 portion of the camp where she completely dominated around the rim. She catches passes on screen-and-rolls, keeps the ball away from defenders, and finishes through contact. She is incredible at drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line.

Reiner and teammate AnnaClaire Bugbee AnnaClaire Bugbee 6'2" | C/PF Mandan | 2028 State ND create probably the most dominate front-court in the entire state. She is incredibly strong around the basket and isn’t afraid of contact or physical play. Other players are scared of how physical Alli is around the hoop. She moves people with ease, fights for position, and is a very effective rebounder. She draws a ton of fouls and gets to the free-throw line often. She is a good free-throw shooter, shooting 70% from the line last season. Reiner was selected as an All-WDA player last season and will be a future All-State selection as well. She is a prospect that has a high ceiling due to her physical abilities. I am eager to see how her Spring and Summer AAU season goes.

Mandan will have a great chance at being a top four team in the WDA and Reiner will be a big part of their postseason run. She played 233 minutes as an 8th grader and I predict she will play 400 plus this season as a freshman. The Braves will be a nice-sized team and will be tough to score on near the rim. Alli does a great job of plugging up driving lanes and defending physical girls. She pursues rebounds with conviction and is great at getting to the free-throw line.

Mandan has an embarrassment of riches at the forward/post position. Alli is going to have a great high school career and will have an opportunity to be a big-time recruit. She is incredibly physical and super strong. She was one of the strongest athletes I saw the entire day. She runs the floor hard and can finish through contact. Look for Alli to find herself an All-WDA selection for multiple years of her high school career.

I really like the way Alli plays.  She is tough bulldog down low and is very physical.  She fights for positioning and uses her strength extremely effectively.  She played at key moments this season for Mandan as only an 8^th grader and I predict she finds herself in a starting role next season.  She will be a great double post option with fellow big AnnaClaire Bugbee AnnaClaire Bugbee 6'2" | C/PF Mandan | 2028 State ND .

Alli has some big time potential as an athlete and is in a great spot at Mandan . She is having to practice daily against a Division 1 teammate and also against a 6’2 teammate with college potential. I am hopeful Alli is embracing this opportunity to get better and embrace her role in helping her teammates improve. Her time to shine on the court is coming and it is coming soon. Alli looks like she still may grow another inch or two and that would put her in a great position for colleges to recruit her. She has a nice touch and looks to be committed to getting better each season.
