I’ve been a strong supporter of Pape over the past couple of years, and her decision to head to Cornell had a ton of Bear fans excited for the next four years. She is a kid that can make an immediate impact in her first year because of how versatile she is. She seems to be a head-down and just-work type of player, which usually turns out well from a development standpoint.

Ally has had a handful of moments this year where she clearly shows you that she’s college ready. Her patience, strength, and ability to shoot the ball at a high clip have been key for her, and even in a tough loss yesterday, you got to see how talented she is. Cornell will be getting another program.

There’s no secret that I believe this kid is going to be special. Pape has the skillset that can be productive in whatever situation you put her in. Tonight, her size, ball control and patience should be key in getting the upper hand on Loyola. She could be due for another breakout game.

Pape plays the game with a ton of patience but has a bit of aggression in her skillset as well. Shes confident on the drive and doesn’t need more than 3 moves to get where she needs to go. She is a legitimate 3 level threat on the offensive side, and has the frame to cause problems for 1-3 on the defensive side. A tremendous amount of upside.

A talented player that can succeed in any role that she’s placed in. A knockdown shooter from the outside, high IQ on both sides, and has the versatility to defend multiple positions. High potential.

One of the top players in the 2025 class, Pape has unlimited talent and a feel for the game that goes perfect with a college ready frame. The ability to score in transition, with contact and isolation are there, but it’s her constant movement without the ball that will be appreciated this season. Shes adaptable, effective and competitive. All the qualities of a standout player.

Pape can seamlessly fit into any offense/defense due to her wide ranged skillset.. but also because she just does the little things that matter. She’s attentive on the defense side.. jumps pass lanes, switches with communication and can guard multiple positions. Offensively her ability to score from all angles and levels are a huge addition to her game as well. Fluid form, never seems rattled and can finish around the rim with contact.
