On the defensive end, the 5’10 forward brings a gritty work ethic and physical style of play to the floor. Alysen uses her strength and motor to her advantage, allowing her to excel on the boards. On offense, the Cardinals freshman can get to the basket with ease or shoot the lights out from the perimeter. As an 8th grader she averaged 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and just under 14 points per game. Purcell was out injured this summer but that does not diminish her long-term projection.
