The Elon committ has been the most significant reason Carroll County has been so good, and Maxpreps has them listed as the 7th best team in the state. Alyssa has had some monster performances, like a school-record 47-point performance in a win over Orange Park and a 44-point performance in a win over Honaker. Alyssa’s defensive intensity and well-rounded game have been on display all year. Carroll County’s strength of schedule isn’t great but make no mistake this is a really good team led by a really good player.
