This young lady isn’t afraid of any smoke. When her number was called, it just seemed like she always delivered. Even throughout the state run, she always seemed to hit the big shot down the stretch to spark the club. She is a player who can score from all 3 levels, a solid defender, and someone who contributes to her club in many ways. Personally, I was impressed with how poised she plays under pressure. She did her thing at BHS and had a solid career.

The High Motor Scoring Guard led Bartlett in scoring while coming off the bench. In the preseason ranking, she was listed at 65 and moved up to 39 in the final rankings. She is the only senior on the team that has not signed to play at the next level. She helped lead her team to the state semifinal round. The senior impacted her team in a variety of ways on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

Came off the bench and provided the spark Bartlett needed. Scoring 23 points and grabbing 9 boards, she was the leading catalyst in those categories for her club. Playing inspired basketball, she went to work, making it difficult for Bearden to stop her. Getting to her spot, hit clutch shots when her team needed them, and she impacted the game when her team needed a bucket. A talented kid who did her thing as her club took down a hot Bearden team.

Scoring Guard and Leading Scorer. Not only does the senior guard lead Bartlett in scoring. She does it coming off the bench. She is the only senior that hasn’t signed with a school. However, she did recently get an offer from #7 ranked Trinity Valley Community College. The high motor guard plays on both ends of the court. She is very conscience about the shots she take and a tough, disciplined defender.

It wasn’t displayed in her highlights, however, Amare is an energetic defender in the full court and half court also.

High Energy Scoring Guard. When I first say Bartlett in November, they had a completely different starting line up and Amare was in it. The 2 games I have seen since she has come off the bench. When she enters the game, she is instant energy and offense. Most of her points was at the basket – either from a pull up, running the lanes in transition or attacking to the basket. She was pretty efficient tonight scoring.
