Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Amira is one of the top post prospects in Florida’s 2030 class thanks to her combination of strength, skill, and advanced footwork. She consistently establishes position early, plays with physicality in the paint, and has the touch to finish efficiently around the basket. What separates her from many young post players is her versatility on the offensive end. Amira can stretch the floor, knock down shots from 10 to 15 feet, and make defenses respect her away from the rim. She rebounds aggressively, runs the floor well, and brings a strong motor every time she steps on the court. Her mobility and feel for the game allow her to impact multiple areas, and she already possesses a polished skill set for her age. With her blend of size, production, and upside, Amira has a chance to be one of the best post prospects to come through the Tampa area.

displayed a remarkably polished offensive skill set for a 2030 prospect, showcasing footwork that on one play resembled the “Dream Shake” by Hakeem Olajuwon. She established strong position by sealing defenders, creating easy scoring angles. White showed excellent balance, body control, and touch around the basket, finishing through contact while locked in on the basket. She also stepped from the rim and knocked down shots from the perimeter. For such a young prospect, her combination of footwork, physicality, and scoring versatility was impressive. The sky is the limit for this young prospect, who was one of the top post players in the 15U Division.

Amira is a big, physical presence in the 2030 class who already shows a well-rounded skill set. She can handle the ball and step out to hit the three when given space. She led the break in transition and delivered a nice bounce pass for an assist, which speaks to her overall game as a top post prospect in her classs. In the paint, has a strong spin move and a reliable mid-range jumper, especially along the baseline. She also showed defensive impact with a block from behind. In the half court, she is comfortable with her back to the basket and converted a tough spin over the shoulder for an and-one. Her footwork and versatility stand out, especially for a player so young.
