As far as college potential goes, there was not another player at the showcase who has a higher ceiling then Olivia. She has only been playing the game for two years, but you would never know it by the way she played. Her size is impossible not to notice, standing at least 6’4 tall. She blocked a lot of shots and grabbed a lot of rebounds, but it was her finishing with both hands at the rim and very high IQ that had the AAU directors buzzing next to me on the sideline. Her anticipatory skills on both ends were very impressive for someone with such little game experience. Cary has the potential to be a Power Four recruit in a couple years, but if I were a high-level division one coach, I am not sure I would wait that long. She showed good footwork already when surrounded by opposing players after receiving the ball, but will only get even better with time.

Olivia Cary Olivia Cary 6'3" | C/PF Orlando Christian Prep | 2030 FL was one of the most impressive young post players I saw at Brawl at the Palms. Her presence alone commanded respect in the paint and altered the way opponents approached the game. In fact, an opposing coach admitted that Cary’s rim protection made his players hesitant to attack the basket. While her defensive impact stood out, she was also effective on the offensive end. Cary showed a soft shooting touch, knocked down mid-range shots with confidence, and finished efficiently around the rim. Her ability to influence the game on both ends of the floor made her a constant matchup problem and one of the standout performers of the event.

Cary was impressive from the moment she stepped on the court and backed it up with a strong performance on Sunday. The young forward brought a steady two-way presence, particularly on the defensive end, where she blocked several shots in one game and quickly established herself as a force in the paint. After a few rejections, opponents appeared far less willing to challenge her around the basket. Offensively, Cary showed confidence in the mid-range area, knocking down multiple jumpers and demonstrating good touch. She also ran the floor well, showing impact in transition, offense, and defense. When the 2030 watchlist is released, you can bet Cary will be sitting close to the top of the list.
