Lucy Berry Lucy Berry 5'8" | CG/SF Jordan Christian Prep | 2030 FL was a physical, high-effort player who contributed in several areas. She ran the floor and worked hard to get back defensively. She played excellent help-side defense and kept getting her hands in the passing lanes to create steals and deflections. Berry pressured the ball, competed for loose possessions, and even found a teammate after diving to the floor. Berry also showed she could lead the break and demonstrated it with a crisp pass for the layup. Her toughness, cutting, and willingness to do the smaller things made her a valuable glue player for the group.

Berry is a multi-sport athlete who also competes in track and cross country in addition to what she gets accomplished on the basketball court. She actually competes part of her travel schedule on the Adidas circuit with MBJ Elite but proudly wore the Lola Bunnie’s Basketball Club 15U throughout her Peach Games weekend. Her team finished 3-1 this past weekend and the lone loss was in overtime to ABM Elite 15U. She consistently put up crooked numbers on the scoreboard as an effective 3-point shooter and got herself in position to corral rebounds. Creating additional offensive possessions with her defense is another plus to Berry’s game. The rising standout from Jordan Christian Prep appears to be just getting started. 

A team’s chances of winning are very good with Berry. Lola Bunnie’s Basketball Club began their Peach Games weekend with a pair of emphatic wins over Team Passion 15U and Carolina Playmakers 15U. Versatility is the hallmark of her game considering she can give a team worthwhile minutes at either of the guard spots in the backcourt or by playing at the three. Opposing defenses have to watch for if she will attempt to attack the rim or if she will try a 3-point attempt. Making plays in the transition game is another positive attribute to Berry’s game. She is representing Jordan Christian Prep on this year’s Lola Bunnie’s Basketball Club 15U roster.
