Anaiyaa is a tough guard who played through contact for an and-one finish a couple times during the event. She used a hesitation move and a strong change of speed to create separation when attacking and scoring downhill, knocked down a wing 3, and made a nice drive-and-kick pass that led to another 3. One thing that really stood out was her willingness to feed her post players when they got position. Her quickness, handles, and ability to impact the game on both sides of the floor at every level makes Anaiyaa a lead guard you want guiding your team.
Anaiyaa impacted the game with her playmaking ability and creativity off the bounce. She used her handle and shiftiness well to break down defenders and get into the paint, where she made quality reads and created opportunities for others. She also showed touch finishing around the rim with a strong left-handed finish and looked comfortable making sharp passes in tight spaces throughout the weekend.

Lake Howell | 2028 StateFL
breaks into the Top 100 with a 22-spot jump from #104 to #82. She first caught our attention in April during travel ball in Rock Hill, where her smooth game began to unfold as she trusted her skills and delivered highlight-worthy plays. Defensively, she was relentless—smothering ball handlers and making them regret having the ball in their hands. At the Sophomore ID camp, she continued to impress by consistently knocking down 3’s, finishing with either hand around the rim, and even converting tough off-hand layups. What stood out most was her defensive IQ and the clear joy she takes in competing on that end of the floor. Anaiyaa is one of the biggest stock risers in these rankings, and she has the potential to be the biggest mover again in the next update. She’s a must-follow for our staff this season.
Anaiyaa showed the ability to shoot the 3 ball at a high clip. She also could get around her defender and dropped a nasty lefty runner in traffic during 5×5. Defensively, she did a great job of helping off when her teammate was beat by stopping the ball or hedging off of her player on screens. Her confidence in picking up one of the top PG’s in this class full-court and making her zig and zag up the court showed a lot of maturity as well.
This was my first time seeing Anaiyaa live & she looked like the best player in the game I saw. She had a really nice move to the basket and finished at the rim. After that move, she scored with her left hand over a bigger defender just a few possessions later. Her defensive intensity was great as she smothered her opponent when they had the ball.
