Sturdivant showed what attracted me to her game in the 5th grade, her explosiveness to leave the defender cemented to the court, and watching her blow by them with ease to score had me smiling while thinking back to yesteryear. She also dropped the jumper in the set, as well as the long ball ala “stop and pop” yet her intensity on defense needs to be mentioned

Sturdivant was another player that the announcer had a problem with saying her name correctly but again, he got most of her game correctly and since she had #D1Lock dropped from me when she was in the 5th grade, everything is continuing to fall into place. Her ballhandling baseline to baseline under pressure is second to none because she has “speed with the ball” and stays under control. She also can see the court from, well everywhere plus when you mix in her jumper as well as scoring off the dribble, what else do you expect. How about “on the ball defense” and countless times diving for loose balls
