Charlotte, playing on Team 7 at The Expo, was the only 2030 prospect in attendance and showed a lot of confidence competing against older players. During 3v3 action, she consistently worked to seal her defender and establish position inside. That effort carried over into 5v5, where Charlotte continued battling for position in the paint and wasn’t afraid to call for the ball when she earned an advantage. She competed well on the glass at both ends, pursuing offensive rebounds for extra possessions while also helping finish defensive stops with a rebound. Charlotte’s motor showed up away from the basket as well, as she made multiple hustle plays and was willing to get on the floor after loose balls. For the youngest player in the gym, she showed she was ready to compete and do the work inside against older competition.

Charlotte is a post prospect I wanted to see at the Freshman Showcase, so when I saw she signed up for The Expo, I was very excited. She’ll have a golden opportunity to prove herself against elite forwards in the older age groups. Charlotte impressed me during her AAU season with MBA. Her footwork, defensive technique, strong seals to establish inside positioning, tough finishing around the basket, and passing instincts all separated her on the court. Charlotte also has a 6-foot-2 frame that towers over most forwards in the paint. She’s one of the top post prospects I’ve evaluated in the 2030 class, and I can’t wait to see how she matches up against the older girls on Saturday.

Charlotte has very high potential as a forward prospect, already standing tall with a 6-foot-2 frame and possessing good instincts in the post. She anticipated a euro-step on the defensive end, moved her feet, and stood tough to draw what should have been a charge. Charlotte passed the ball to a guard, cut to the basket, sealed off her defender, and caught the ball with good hands. She scored a tough, contested layup, made a smart extra pass out to the perimeter for an assist, and consistently established great inside positioning to receive lobs in the paint. Charlotte defended a drive using textbook wall-up technique for a block and worked hard to secure rebounds. She has good footwork and was a key player for MBA UA Future 14U at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic.
