Hollins was very impressive picking and choosing her spots when to score and when to facilitate the offense for her team. Hollins kept her dribble low and her head high as she weaved in and out of traffic with the basketball, setting up easy scores for Team Eight more times than not it seemed. When defenders gave Taylor space, she punished them by knocking down shots from three-point range. When they chose to crowd her, Hollins used one or two quick escape dribbles before hitting a dribble combination and going by them. She was also a positive, vocal leader on the floor and on the bench keeping her teammates laughing and engaged. Elite handle with the ability to score from all three levels.

Taylor Hollins Taylor Hollins 5'5" | SG/PG Ensworth | 2029 TN is a floor general. She has an innate ability to find a way to progress possessions. Whether that is dribbling through a crowd of defenders for a layup or passing it to an open teammate, Hollins is constantly making the correct play.

Hollins’ passing ability stands out in her game greatly. She does a good job at getting her center involved. This, in part, comes from Hollins being especially good at placing post-entry passes.

Hollins is also an above-average perimeter defender and shooter.

Shifty guard who can get paint touches with ease. Has a nice, quick first step to complement her bag of handles, which enable her to attack downhill effectively. Her defense also stands out as she is willing to turn a PG, creating havoc, making it difficult to operate. Has great foot speed and can hurt opponents in multiple ways. Look for her to help the Lady Tigers’ ball club out. I suspect she will earn some valuable minutes and then become an essential part of the program as the Lady Tigers look forward to taking the next steps towards becoming a formidable team.
