Alaniz understands that the game starts at the 1 and her ability to control the tempo and get teammates involved was there a few years ago when I caught her at a camp in West Texas. I love watching her thread the needle in traffic which gets her teammates good looks, she does that in the set as well as in transition however she can score off the dribble using a deceptive first step and her body control as well as not only finishing after contact but creating contact while attacking is very nice. So is her mid to very long-range jumper
