Miller is likely to go from unranked to the top-15 in the Class of 2027 when we update our spring rankings as she is a player who should have offers any NAIA or Division II school within shouting distance of Milford. Displays the perfect “slow in the post” type of game and rarely panics, while holding her own against Malcolm’s Halle Dolliver Halle Dolliver 5'10" | CG/SF Malcolm | 2026 State NE in the state finals game that Milford won 66-52. Scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four assists in the state finals. Showed the ability to step out and shoot the three as well while averaging 14.3 points in the tournament.

The 6-foot junior is going to be a complete steal at the college level for the program that gets her. On Friday, she had 16 points and four rebounds, while continuing to impact the defensive level. Miller’s variety of post moves continues to impress and her willingness to use the left hand makes her a hard guard down low.

Got two more looks at Miller last week and her game continues to impress as she is outside of the spotlight for Milford with standout sophomore Shayla Rautenberg Shayla Rautenberg 6'4" | PF Milford | 2028 State NE averaging nearly 19 points and 16 rebounds a contest. Miller’s game is just as good and she can score with a variety of moves in the post. Against Ogallala in a 53-36 win, she scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting. In a win over top-ranked Malcolm scored eight points and had six rebounds as the Clippers packed the paint. Shooting 50% from the field and averaging nearly 15 points per contest.

The 6-footer from Milford was often overshadowed by seniors Ayla Roth and Izzy Yeakley, but was the perfect running mate for freshman standout Shayla Rautenberg Shayla Rautenberg 6'4" | PF Milford | 2028 State NE . Miller is a true post who has a good assortment of moves around the basket, can use her left hand really well and is a good passer. Underrated on the defensive end, she is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. Average 10.1 points and 5.5 rebounds last season.

We are going to have to do a deep dive into Milford High School and their roster this next few months because they happen to have several prospects that could compete at the next level in one form or another. Someone that comes to mind from their 2027 Class is Ashlynn Miller Ashlynn Miller 6'0" | PF/C Milford | 2027 State NE at the PF position. Miller doesn’t only have size, she has great awareness, a soft touch on the ball, balanced footwork, and multiple counter-moves on either block. When she catches with her back to the basket and a little time, she is very good at converting in one way or another. She can spin middle and finish over a smaller defender or she will even pull out the up-and-under move for a pump fake fake name | 2027 NE into a finish when the defense is undisciplined. Milford has some killers down low and I can’t wait to see what they turn into over these next two seasons. At this pace, they look VERY promising.
