Another “in the shadows” type player, Crabtree will be a standout for a
Nebraska Supreme
team that has high hopes on the Puma Circuit. Crabtree is a master point guard who can get to the rim and has the ability to create her own shot from just about anywhere in the floor. On the same high school team as standout posts

her job in the winter is to get them the ball. Had a huge state tournament in leading Milford to the Class C-1 state title game, and had a career-high 33 points in the Eagles earlier season win over Malcolm; whom they beat in the state finals.

It sometimes seems a disservice to Crabtree that she plays with Rautenberg and 2027

because she can go stretches of games with the Eagles dominating the point. But, her state tournament effort lifted Milford to the title. She scored 43 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 16 assists over three games, highlighted by a 22-point, five assist effort against Gothenburg in the state semifinals. She also added 14 points, five rebounds and five assists in the state championship game. When you see Crabtree this summer her recruiting attention may really take off.

Crabtree’s stat line is never going to jump off the page in a Milford game since they rely so much on their twin towers in the middle. But, she controls the pace of the game so well that it allows Milford to be in control usually from the jump. On Friday, Crabtree had just three points and shot just three times, but added four rebounds and an assist. Her floater in the lane in the fourth quarter against the Bison zone may have been the biggest bucket of the contest. It will be fun to watch Crabtree flourish in the open floor of the summer circuit this year.

Crabtree might be one of the most underrated and undervalued prospects in the 2028 class. Playing in the shadow of

(she’ll get to next year, too), Crabtree helps run the show. In their 53-36 win over Ogallala last weekend, she had 10 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Crabtree boasts season averages of 8.9 points, 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game, but the length and depth of her game was showcased in her 32 point effort in a 66-64 win over Malcolm.

Milford High School is going to have a chance of making this season a special one. One of the reasons for that is their personal on hand like

. Crabtree stood out last Winter as one of the better prospects on their roster and she has seemingly gotten better with her experience over the past twelve months. Crabtree has a fundamental game as a PG but she also has some tenacity to her. When she smells blood on a defend, she knows to attack their weakness to make some plays while going towards the bucket. Recruiters like what Crabtree brings to the court. If she keeps getting better in her free time, who knows where might end up.

of Milford High School. Crabtree is skilled in every definition of the phrase, she can lead her team’s by example as a heck of a teammate, and she is someone that all coaches love to work with overall. These are three things that are hard to come by all under one player but Crabtree really embodies it all. She demonstrated that last year first hand with her Varsity crew as a Freshman and she is looking to follow that up once again as a Sophomore this Winter as well. She has been working this off-season and she is ready to show the State what she can really do.

I would anticipate that Milford High School will have a good chance to make it to the State Tournament for their Class this Winter. They return one of the tallest and most athletic players in the entire state, they have other underclassmen with impressive skill-sets at the guard position, and they are coming off of a respectable season a Winter ago. One of these underclassmen, who is going to be someone we hear about for years to come at the varsity level is

. Crabtree showed out last Winter as a big-name player throughout the State. I received multiple texts from parents while she was competing and they all said the same thing. “Crabtree is a star.” When you pair that as a pass first PG, with the rest of the pieces they have, it’s not crazy to think this group makes it to State a few times over the next couple of years.

I already have Milford High School as a State Tournament participant this upcoming season with the roster that they are going to bring back. Milford doesn’t just have one Top 25 2028 player, they have two. They have 6’4 Center – Shayla Rauetenberg and 5’6 PG/SG –

. Crabtree is a hooper. If you watch her compete for about five minutes, you know that she has a high understanding of the game and that she is very skilled for her age level. That was on full display last Winter as a freshman and I expect nothing less this time around. She should cook all Winter long. Now it’s just about making it actually happen.

of Milford out of the 2028 Class is someone to know. Crabtree, a 5’5 PG/SG, is as skilled as they come with the ball in her possession. When Milford is running full steam ahead, Crabtree is usually playing well. She is either attacking her defenders hips and looking to get into the teeth of the defense for an assist or she is looking to score herself. Every game she records a handful of tips, deflections, and steals on the defensive end and that production is noteworthy. Anytime you can impact a game on defense alone with your efforts, it’s meaningful because that can transfer to the next level. We are still early in the process with everyone in this Class but I like what I’ve seen so far out of Crabtree.

will be an incoming Freshman at Milford High School. Milford is a program that ended their season with a 16-7 record, falling just short in the Playoffs. Crabtree is a 5’5 guard, that seems to be on the Varisty roster already by the looks of it because of what she brings to the table. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a situation where she plays for JV primarily to start off but once she has her feet underneath her, I think she could do some positive things in the right moments. She makes some smart reads with some great body control while attaching her defender, going towards the rim. To build on that, she understands the personal on her team around her and what everyone does best, making her an asset in the passing game as well. As long as she gets that confidence underneath her early on, then she should thrive.
