Ava Carolan of West Lyon is an intriguing player when you break down her film and what she likes to do when she competes. Carolan is lengthier than most at 6’0 at the CG position and she is NOT afraid to let it go from deep. As a Junior she launched 255 total shots with 150 of them being from behind the three point line but hold the phone. Carolan isn’t just the type to let it go every time she touches it. Instead, she is the type that wants to rebound, create steals defensively, all while being a good teammate to those around her. She never wants to seem selfish or like she is better than anyone else. Overall she has great size and ambition for her position. She was one of her team’s leading scorers a season ago and that should be the case once again during her Senior campaign as well these next eight months.
