Don’t let the size fool you, she hit a clutch 3 at the buzzer to send her team into overtime. In OT, she did her thing and helped her club capture the W. All weekend long, she played with poise, hunted great shots, and contributed not only to scoring but also to other aspects of the game. She was solid from the field, and I predict her to have a solid summer moving forward as well. A prospect that will surely get plenty of looks this upcoming season.

Dropping 29 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals, she was a Miss Tennessee Basketball snub, and she is letting everyone know that she is a top 3 nominee. A heady floor general that is no stranger to the bottom of the net. When she is on the floor, the level of play around her rises. A kid who can exploit any defense, she is a tough matchup anytime she is on the floor. This sharpshooter is ready to get after it as she and her club look to take down opponents on their mission to capture the state crown. It will be a no-holds-barred event when this club takes the floor. Look for Ava to be a factor in ballgames and hit crucial shots down the stretch for her club.

Floyd this season is averaging a team high 20.2 PPG, and her three-point shooting is a crucial part of this. She has 44 made threes this year and is shooting 40% form distance. Floyd, when it comes to her three-point shooting, can shoot both off the dribble and off the catch.

Her versatile shooting ability was on display in a game against Wayne County High School. Floyd had 28 points and five makes from distance in the contest.

Volume scorer who can put the ball in the hole. She has had multiple double-digit outings, including a 40-point game. With her presence on the floor, she attracts double teams and kids who face-guard, but she always seems to find a way to break away and put the ball in the net. She brings confidence to her club, and they feed off her energy. Solid kid who is going to have a breakthrough year as she knocks down HCHS records along the way.

 Don’t let the size fool you, this young lady is a heady ball player who loves the challenge. She will be closing in on being the all-time scoring leader at Hickman Co. The school has had tremendous ballplayers who went on to play high-level basketball. She is right there, about to eclipse the scoring mark probably mid-way in December. She’s a kid who is no stranger to the bottom of the net. She can score around the rim or shoot from afar. Ava is a kid who loves putting on a show and will do anything to help her team win.

Floyd’s offensive game is elite. She can score in isolation and is a great mover off the ball. In isolation, she can put together a number of dribble moves to get past her defender and score. She even has a lethal euro step in her bag.

To go with her high-level scoring bag, Floyd is also a sniper from behind the arc. She had several games with three or more threes last season for Hickman County High School. This includes a game against Summit High School, where she had five three-pointers.

This young lady is on a mission, and she is staking her claim as one of the top 27s in her class. She is a scoring PG who has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop. No matter where she is on the floor, she can dial it up or get to the rim with ease. You saw her fearlessness multiple times yesterday, as she would take it to the rack and challenge taller defenders. She is a hustler, a solid two-way player, someone who has her ballclub thinking state contention. Look for her to have a sensational season where she sets records along the way.
