Ava started off showcase on fire from the three-point line. She showed her versatility and willingness to do whatever her team needed. In the first game she played primarily from the wing position. She had 11 of her teams 16 points in the first half. She used her size to post up smaller defenders and did a nice job rebounding offensively. In the second and third game she played more in the post often guarding players who were 6 feet or taller. Ava battled in the paint, using good positioning and constant movement to make it difficult for players to post up. She was effective rebounding and hustled after loose balls. Ava was been bothered by injury the past year, so it was really nice to see her back on the court.

Ava King Ava King 5'7" | CG James Rivermidlothian | 2025 State VA is a good two-way player. She is always super active defensively, getting steals and blocking shots. She is a good spot-up shooter and is a solid rebounder. Ava is what you want from a wing and someone I am excited to watch more of this weekend.
