About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Primary Position: Point Guard Defensive-minded point guard with strong court vision and leadership. I take pride in applying pressure on defense, running the offense, and creating opportunities for teammates. I’m continuing to expand my scoring ability while staying focused on making smart plays and helping the team win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I compete with a team-first mentality and focus on working hard every day to improve. I strive to play with confidence, stay composed in any situation, and be someone my coaches and teammates can rely on. I’m very coachable and always looking for feedback that will help me take my game to the next level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honors with Distinction: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior (Semester 1 Reported)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills. My teamwork has grown as I’ve learned to communicate better and help play to our strengths.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

While I haven’t faced any significant challenges, I continue to grow as a player by setting new goals and maintaining mental toughness as I work to achieve them. I stay focused on improving my skills and pushing myself to reach the next level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers both a strong women’s basketball program and academic opportunities.
