Avery is an 8th grader starting on varsity and playing big minutes on a big stage. She seems to be well poised, under control and always looks to make the right & smart play and at times she’s the more aggressive one looking to help her team score. Against Ft Payne she had a game high 25pts leading all scorers and showing her good shooting ability from 3 an the free throw line. It’s still early and Avery has a lot more basketball to play, but the experience and production she is getting now is going to be huge as her game continues to develop. She can make a run as a top player in the state in the coming high school years.
