Langdon Area-Munich has a state title in their future. Most of their players who played significant minutes are either 8th graders, freshmen, or sophomores. Avery spent a lot of the season recovering from a knee injury but persevered and found ways to make positive plays when she returned for the Cardinals. The two parts of Avery’s game that stands out the most are her athletic ability and her aggressiveness to the basket. She is clearly one of the best athletes in the 2029 class. She sprints past defenders with ease and is fearless attacking the hoop. She draws many fouls throughout her games and often finds herself at the free-throw line. Watch out for the Cardinals to make some noise in 26-27 with a healthy Lorenz back in the lineup.

Avery is already a star in the state and led the Cardinals to the state tournament in 2025.  She has all of the tools to be a future All-State player and is an intriguing prospect due to how effective she is at such a young age.  She is a very good outside shooter and someone who spaces the floor for her team.  She runs well and has very long arms that makes her a very good defender.  She slithers to the rim and can finish in traffic.  Avery is very good.

Avery has a great basketball frame and is an outstanding athlete for Langdon. She is able to knock down outside shots and does a nice job of cutting to the basket. Knowing when to cut can be a hard skill to learn and Avery does a very good job for someone her age. She also is a very competitive defender, using her length and quickness to harass opponents. Avery has a chance to be a very good high school basketball player.
