Barnes has made one of the more noticeable jumps this season. Campo Verde’s success is directly tied to her continued growth. Defensively, she’s disruptive — active hands, good anticipation, and willing to guard. Offensively, her outside shooting has become a legitimate weapon. She’s more confident, more decisive. If Barnes continues impacting both ends the way she has, the Coyotes become much more balanced — and much more dangerous.

Barnes didn’t have her usual shooting night, but she impacted the game in every other way. She defended at a high level, stayed locked in, and didn’t let missed shots take her out of the game. Then, when the moment came, she buried a dagger three to seal it for the Coyotes. That’s toughness. That’s trust. Big-time player making a big-time play.

is another excellent player for the young Campo Verde squad, and she may be the best outside shooter on the team. She is excellent from the 3 point line, and she can score on all 3 levels. She is a fearless shooter, and she can catch and shoot or score of the dribble. She is a good defender and she has a high basketball IQ. Bailey will be a critical piece for this team as they approach the playoffs and look to get to the State Championship.

Barnes played an excellent floor game overall and came up clutch with some big three pointers in the second half that were momentum changers. She was also very active on the defensive end by collecting a game-high five steals.

Bailey is a tough guard who showed her versatility over the summer. She showed that she can be effective on or off the ball. She is a solid ballhandler who knows how to fend off quick defenders. Her outside shooting makes defenders play her close, which allows her to go by them off the dribble.

Bailey is a good ballhandler and passer, but she is known more for her perimeter shooting ability. Barnes doesn’t need much room to get her shot off. She can get hot from three-point range, going on streaks of consecutive shots.

is a nice combo guard that is very poised under pressure. She has a very high basketball IQ and can play multiple positions both on offense and defense. She can score on all 3 levels, and she is a very unselfish player. I see her as a point guard on the next level, but can play multiple positions for Campo Verde.
