Lewis is a strong, tough point guard whose offense is catching up to her defense. On defense, she bothered ball handlers constantly with her quick hands and feet. Her offense looks smoother every time I see her. She looked comfortable shooting the three-ball and got into the lane consistently.

Mackenzie is a two-way guard with a high motor. She impacts the game on both sides of the ball. She is a reliable offensive threat and an efficient scorer who shot 45% from the field. When she attacks the basket, she does it with confidence. What stands out about Mackenzie’s game is her quick hands, her relentless pressure, and her anticipation. She, like Jaiyana, creates transitional opportunities through her defense. Mackenzie is a true competitor. I can see Mackenzie being a strong two-way contributor at the next level. She would fit a high-tempo collegiate offense. She is another big reason why Campo Verde is competing at a high level.

Mackenzie Lewis is a very good guard that plays well in the Campo Verde system which allows players to play multiple positions. Lewis can play both guard positions well. She is a good passer and scorer, and she is a very active defender. She has a high motor and she is a great communicator and leader for the Coyotes. Lewis has a veteran presence about her which is going to be critical in the Quarterfinals vs. Sandra Day O’Connor. Look for Lewis to be climbing the rankings as she enters her senior year.

Lewis was the steady hand that kept everything in control for the Coyotes against a tough, feisty Gilbert squad. She ran the show with poise, made the right reads, and kept her teammates in rhythm. Her court awareness stood out, especially in pressure moments, and defensively, she set the tone at the point of attack. True floor general performance that doesn’t always show up loud in the box score, but you feel her presence.

Kenzie Lewis is a terrific combo guard for Campo Verde and she will be a vital part for the team’s success in Las Vegas. She is a terrific defender and a floor leader. She can guard multiple positions and she does all of the little things that help teams win. I love her energy and passion as she is one of my favorite players to watch in Arizona.

Lewis is a tough, floor-general type who sets the tone with her energy and competitive spirit. Coming off a strong season, she’ll look to build on that foundation and help push Campo Verde toward a deep postseason run.

Kenzie Lewis is somewhat under the radar right now, but that will change this season as Campo Verde has emerged as a Title contender with the addition of a couple high profile players. Kenzie is a versatile combo guard that is very good in transition. She is an excellent passer and has great court vision. She is an excellent shooter especially off the dribble in mid-range and in the key. She is a floor general on the court that communicates very well with her teammates, and is a solid defender. Kenzie is a high energy player that has a high basketball IQ and will be an integral part of Campo Verde’s run at a State Title.

Kenzie Lewis is one of the smoothest and skilled point guards on the 2027 class. She is a seasoned player that has really worked hard at her craft. She is very dangerous in the open floor because of her speed and agility. She has the ability to pull up from 3, or distribute to a teammate for an open look. She is a 3 level scorer and she is crafty around the rim on her finishes. She is a lock-down defender that has a relentless motor. She is always communicating to her teammates and making sure everyone is playing on a string. Kenzie is the ultimate team leader and will capture the attention of college scouts as Campo Verde has surfaced as one of the top teams in the state.

By her performance, Lewis could be among the most improved players in the state. She’s a downhill point guard who was always looking to put pressure on the defense, whether as a passer or a scorer. On defense, she won multiple 50/50 balls and caused numerous turnovers.

Kenzi Lewis had a tremendous Showcase, displaying incredible handles and passing, as well as scoring from all 3 levels. She is a high energy player that is dialed in at all times with her teammates, and is a true quarterback on the floor. I love her energy and leadership. She is a true point guard in the sense that she checks all of the boxes. Great court vision, timely passing, handling the ball under pressure, etc. I see Kenzi definitely playing on the next level. It will be fun to see how she develops over the next few years on a tremendous Campo Verde squad.
