She and Heringer are scoring over 50% of the Skyhawks points. Betsy is Shiloh’s #1 post and will do her damage from the blocks. She has done a great job of growing into her role and has become more physical each year during her varsity career. The best part of Hatlestad’s game is how hard she works. She has no quit in her and will post up hard and go up strong with the basketball. What makes Betsy a deadly weapon is her understanding of the game. She knows how to position her body in order to get an angle for a pass inside to her. She also hits the offensive glass aggressively and will get easy put backs for the Skyhawks.

Her stats have gone up each season. The expectation is for Betsy to make the All-State Team this season. She is a physical player and fierce competitor.“
