Heringer is a returning All-Region forward with college potential. Her 6’1 frame, length, and athletic ability make her a great prospect. Last season she averaged over 15 points per game and is the primary scorer for her squad. She will eclipse the 1,000 career points mark sometime this season. She runs the floor really well and is a good leaper. I like her touch around the basket and her ability to play tough defense. She is someone I think can excel at the NAIA level.
Sophia is a long and athletic guard. She has had a great season for Shiloh Christian. She uses her athleticism to impact the game on both sides of the floor. She can defend and rebound well due to her size. She can get to the rim offensively and is a solid finisher around the rim.
Sophia has potential to be a great high school player and looks better each time I watch her play. She is super long and athletic. She towers over most other girls on the floor but doesn’t give up any speed or athleticism. She is tough driving to the basket and can finish in traffic. She has active hands defensively and does a good job of getting in passing lanes. She has good vision in transition and makes correct reads.
She and Hatlestad are scoring over 50% of the Skyhawks points. Sophia can score from all three levels, the post, the midrange, and the 3-point arc. Sophia is a 6-footer and can get around almost anybody due to her long stride length and ball-handling abilities. Her coach calls her “Air” Heringer. The best part of her game comes when she drives. Sophia has an amazing first step and can Euro-Step around defenders for lay-ups. She is a deadly weapon for Shiloh because she plays the 4 spot. The Skyhawks basically run the offense through her and let her make the decision about pass, shoot, or drive.
Sophia is an impressive looking basketball player. She has the frame that coaches look for in a player. Her size and length allows her to play multiple positions defensively. She was able to shoot from the outside and also had several tough finishes around the rim. She is a scrappy defender, getting a steal for a ‘pick 6’ layup in the first half. Sophia is only a junior and someone college coaches should keep an eye on.

came onto the scene last season. She averaged 18 minutes per game. Sophia is one of those players who has height, can shoot the 3-pointer, and drive past a perimeter defender. Sophia will be a main key to the success of the Skyhawks offense and defense.“
