Riley was another player I hadn’t seen in a few years yet her performance in that same Girls Super 16 see evaluation here had me using these exact words “expect her to make a tremendous jump in the rankings on my next update” as she rises 19 spots. Speaking of rising, check out the cover photo from that event and you can see her elevating to drop the jumper, which she did off the top and never let up yet her poise under pressure was also on full display

Riley showed at a very young age what she could do and expect her to make a tremendous jump in the rankings on my next update. I hadn’t seen her in almost two seasons and “jump” is a key word because her jumper was clicking as she set the defender up nicely to not only get her shot off and drop it but also score or dish off the dribble

Riley continues to elevate her game on both ends of the court and her “on the ball” defense has definitely taken a jump as she’s showing she can apply heat baseline to baseline. Her court vision as well as ballhandling under pressure are also huge pluses yet watching her set the defender up to attack the basket and finish strongly, at times off balance and after contact always has me smiling along with her mid to long-range jumper
