Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Millie was an effective facilitator and defender for Michigan Premier Guenther 16U at the PGH MI College Tour. She scanned the court with her eyes up, made accurate bounce passes into the post confidently using either hand, and dished out great passes to cutters after penetrating off the dribble. She finished layups in transition and worked hard to turn ball-handlers on the defensive end.

Millie brought grit and toughness to the point guard spot for Team 7 at the PGH Freshman Showcase, making her presence known on the defensive end with scrappy play. She picked off an inbound pass and turned it into a quick bucket, showing her alertness and hustle. Offensively, she had a smooth touch with a reliable floater and mid-range jumper that kept defenders off balance.

Millie played up with Mystics 517 2028 at the Select Super Showcase and fit right in. She used a sweet hesi-jab combo move to freeze her defender, then accelerated by for the layup. Millie dropped in a middle floater in the paint off two feet and buried a wing three. She consistently drove downhill and pushed the ball quickly in transition with her dribble. Millie defended in an athletic stance with solid technique and played with fierce competitiveness. My favorite moment was when Millie sprinted back on defense after a miss to chase down a breakaway and block the shot. That next-play mindset is exactly what coaches look for in a prospect. She’s going to be a great addition to the Chelsea program, and I’m excited to watch her again at our Freshman Showcase!
