Briana has been one of the most explosive prospects to watch in the OAA and her senior season at Bloomfield Hills should be no exception. Injuries forced Bri to take on more of a primary ball-handling role in 2023 and she stepped up to the challenge. Her breakaway speed in transition, strong finishing at the rim, and relentless pursuit of rebounds consistently produce double-doubles. Bri battles to force turnovers and secure 50/50 balls on the floor. She has the offensive firepower to put up big numbers and I expect her to be an All-Conference player in 2024.

Bri played like she had something to prove Sunday at the Compound and her aggressiveness separated her from the pack on the floor. Bri drove relentlessly to the rim and scored several layups including a strong and-one through contact off two feet. She tossed a strong overhead pass in transition to a running teammate and added another dime to a cutter. Bri hit the deck to secure an important 50/50 ball late to cause a foul and then knocked down both free throws.

Bri applies phenomenal ball pressure and has the getaway speed to convert turnovers into points. She effectively penetrates the paint and finishes strong at the rim. Bri will be an outstanding prospect to watch for the Hawks this winter.

from Bloomfield Hills looked unstoppable on both ends of the court for the Blackhawks. She was the most impressive athlete using her speed and strength to set the tone for an impressive team performance. Bri deflected passes in the press, blocked shots on quick closeouts, and terrorized ball handlers. Notes: left wing drive with a tough right finish, pullup 2 from the elbow in transition, steal and extra pass assist to teammate in transition, steal of BLOB full court finish to the rim, and offensive rebound draws foul on put back. Bri put together a complete performance today and is an outstanding prospect for Bloomfield Hills. She is my impact performer of the morning session.
