Armstead had a solid weekend at the 2026 Classic In The Country Challenge for the Notre Dame Academy Eagles! In their win over Mason she lead the team with 16 points and displayed her pure shooting stroke from deep knocking down four three-pointers! Armstead clearly has a knack for getting open and the confidence to let it fly when she has the space. The defense couldn’t figure out if she was going to drive or rise up for her shot! I was impressed with her leadership as a junior and her ability to take over the scoring load offensively for the Eagles!

Armstead can impact the game in multiple ways for her team! She has the ability to create her own shot converting at the basket off the dribble. Armstead loves to attack the defense seeking contact on her drives! Armstead also showed she has a pure three-point stroke, being able to knock down her shots when she is open. A high-level competitor who doesn’t take a plays off, she is definitely someone you want on your team when the game is on the line!

You can rely on her to make the deep shot beyond the arc. I like her style of play because she makes shots that flow naturally from attacking the rim to shooting the ball, doesn’t force anything, and is patient both with and without the ball. She maintains a broad shot selection. She looks for openings to attack and finish because she is confident in her ability to score. Give her the ball if the outcome of the game depends on it.

As she makes her debut on the watchlist Armstead can really put on a show. Beyond the arc, you can count on her knocking down the deep shot. She takes shots that flow effortlessly from the attack to the rack and doesn’t force anything, stays patient with and without the ball which is why I enjoy her style of play. She keeps a wide shot selection. She is sure of her ability to score and finds the open gaps to attack and finish. If the game is on the line…. give her the ball.
