A good high motor sophomore who plays the game the right way. Mia Stubbe showed at the Toledo Top 64 that she isn’t afraid of getting physical in the post. She’s very skilled offensively and makes the right decisions with the ball. She’s the first player on the ground going after a loose ball! This forward offers good size and a growing skillset. I saw a lot of positives from this sophomore and I’m sure there’s a lot more in store for her this coming season at Notre Dame Academy!

Mia had a strong showing during the PGH MI College Tour III, and she stood out again at Michigan Premier practice. Her combination of length, physicality, non-stop effort, and versatile skill set is difficult for forwards to match up against. Mia knocked down a free-throw jumper and wasn’t afraid to pull it from beyond the arc. She catches and finishes layups with both hands, competes with a high motor, and has an effective face-up game. Mia crossed over a defender off the dribble, switched hands in front of the rim, and finished with her left off two feet. She scored a full-speed layup off the dribble, grabbed offensive rebounds, and used a double-crossover move to create a driving lane for another layup. Mia blocked shots away with aggression in the paint and turned in a solid all-around effort.

Mia had a strong, robust, compact frame, with length and physicality that immediately stood out during the PGH MI College Tour III. She caught a pass inside with great hands and converted an extremely difficult off-platform finish. Mia swatted shots emphatically in the paint, battled for rebounds, and showed confidence as a three-point shooter. She earned multiple trips to the charity stripe and will be a prospect to follow for Michigan Premier 15U Dean.
