About Brooklyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play point guard, shooting guard, and small forward, and I’m known for being an aggressive defender with quick hands. I see the floor well, move the ball, and love setting my teammates up. Passing, facilitating, and creating opportunities are my go-to strengths, and I bring energy and intensity every time I’m on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a fiery competitor and a focused, internally motivated player. On the court, I put the team first and pride myself on being unselfish. Off the court, I’m funny, supportive, and easy to connect with, but always serious about improving myself and my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addition to basketball, I’m a multi-sport athlete who also competes in lacrosse for True Lacrosse and Golden High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve learned how important teamwork and leadership are, especially in setting up my teammates for success. Being part of multiple teams has taught me to communicate well, lead by example, and balance competing responsibilities while staying focused on the bigger goal.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing multiple sports, academics, and training at a high level has challenged me to stay disciplined and organized. Competing in different sports year-round has taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to bring intensity and focus no matter the situation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a program anywhere in the U.S. where I can make an impact, contribute to the team’s success, and continue to grow as both a player and a person. The most important thing to me is finding a place where I can help a program reach its goals while being challenged to elevate my game.
