Defensively, she consistently makes her presence felt by using her length to disrupt plays, generate deflections, and affect possessions all over the floor. She is also highly active on the glass, including on the offensive boards where she creates second-chance opportunities for her team. Offensively, Brooklynn showed the ability to score at all three levels while displaying fundamentally sound shot mechanics that project well moving forward. With her length, motor, rebounding ability, and developing offensive game, there is plenty of reason to believe her trajectory is pointing upward. As she continues to gain experience and confidence, it feels like the best basketball is still ahead of her.

Brooklynn Colyer Brooklynn Colyer 5'10" | SF North Tampa Christian | 2029 State FL (cover photo) brought plenty of physicality to the court and left a lasting impression with her toughness and effort in the paint. Colyer consistently battled for position, chased down loose balls, forced jump-ball situations, and rebounded aggressively on both ends of the floor. While her offensive game is still developing, she has established herself as a tone-setter inside, doing the dirty work that helps teams win. Her presence was especially important in a highly competitive overtime game. Her toughness, rebounding, and willingness to compete played a key role in getting the “W” in one of the most exciting games of the tournament.
