If you appreciate all facets of the game, then Bry’Lee is a fun watch. She is tough-nosed, strong for her height, athletic, and she plays with a motor. She’s tough to describe by position because she does a little of everything to help her team. Most importantly, she is a highly effective defender who is willing to be physical, rebound, and get on the floor, plus she can come out to the perimeter and defend most guards. Offensively, she is more of a slasher and an opportunistic scorer who finds space off other’s penetration.

Bry’Lee transferred over the Summer from South Side to Wayne, so she will be looking to finish her career with the Generals. She is kind of a Swiss Army Knife at this level, and potentially in a small college environment, because she’s a plug-and-play type. She is very strong at her size, athletic, and she plays with a great motor. Her strongest assets are probably her ability to defend guards, wings, and undersized forwards, plus she’s an effective rebounder at her size. Offensively, she is more of a slasher/driver, but she won’t force the action, and I think she could be a great screener as well.

Bry’Lee moves with her sister (below) about 10 minutes South from Fort Wayne South Side to Wayne High School. Bry’Lee is a tough, hard-working, strong-for-her-size athlete who plays with a nonstop motor. She plays with about as much urgency as anyone at the defensive end of the floor, and she isn’t afraid to “mix it up” or defend/rebound among the bigger front-liners. Offensively, she is more of a driver, but once again, she isn’t afraid of attacking the paint.
