Calli is seeing her game continue to get better. She has very solid footwork in the paint, handles the ball with both hands well with a great crossover and can get to the paint to score. Not many work harder than her in the gym on their own time, her shot has improved as has her overall game.

Jumps a couple of spots to number 34. She does a little bit of everything for her team. Offensively she’s very skilled on the perimeter, but she means a lot more than just shooting threes. She can push tempo north south and force the game fast with her great court vision and the ability to score quickly in transition. Long and athletic, she’s a tough defender.

Geller has always impressed me! Shooters shoot, and while Geller and Newark did not come away with a win against a very talented Kettering Fairmont, Calli kept her composure, continued to look for her shot just as she would on any game day, and contributed with 15 points. Ashland University has a gem coming their way!

Geller is a workhorse combo guard who doesn’t stop on both ends of the floor! She is one of Newark’s best scoring options with her ability to attack the basket off the dribble and rise up from deep! I love her ability to force pickups and cause havoc on the defensive end. In the game versus Margaretta, she forced three steals and made their lead point guard’s game very challenging! She also loves to attack the glass on both ends of the floor looking for rim run opportunities. There is a lot to like about the game of this 5’11” junior combo guard who only continues to get better!

Calli is a fantastic leader on the court, and not much gets to her. She is smooth with the ball, can run the show on offense and will knock down shots to break open a zone. She is able to score in all three phases of the game can push tempo and lead the break, finishing strong at the rim. Calli jumps to #36!

Geller is one of the most consistent players I know. She communicates well, doesn’t hesitate, and this young lady has ice in her veins! Outstanding shooter- doesn’t matter where she’s at- baseline, top of the key or driving in the lane- it’s the same results! (Featured Photo)

Geller has had a major roll on the varsity team since her freshman year. In her two years, she’s made such an impact offensively- not only because her mechanics are solid, but because she takes great shots within the offense. This kid competes and leads by example!

Geller can impact the game in so many ways- fundamentals on both ends of the court are at a high level. She aggressively takes the rock to the rim and makes it rain from deep! Calli finds ways to get open, and with her quick trigger and confidence, she delivers and scores.

Geller contributes to her team in a multitude of ways through her performance! She has a lot of confidence with and without the ball. She has exceptional shooting accuracy and scores around the rim, pulls down second chance buckets as well. Very strong when she has the ball down low on the block, uses her body to score through her defenders.
